Marissa Ebersole-Wood is chief operating officer for Second Wave Delivery Systems.

In her current role, she oversees all day-to-day operations for Second Wave, with a focus on optimizing operational performance, enhancing client value delivery and partnering to execute strategic initiatives.

Marissa brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience. In her prior roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, she was vice president of Commercial Risk Accuracy, responsible for directing operations related to Affordable Care Act Marketplace enrollment and payments, including commercial risk adjustment. She also served as vice president of regulatory implementation and data governance. She started her career at McKinsey & Company, working to support transformation efforts across several industries. 

Marissa has multiple degrees from the University of Michigan, including a PhD in Industrial and Operations Engineering. She currently serves as on the Board for The Greening of Detroit.
